Estimated gross revenue before taxes and expenses.
How does the Twitch Revenue Calculator work?
Calquo combines estimated subscription revenue, Bits, advertising, donations, and sponsorship income to estimate a Twitch creator's monthly and annual gross revenue.
Use Simple mode when you know the streamer's approximate total subscriber count and estimated average revenue per subscription. Use Advanced mode when you want to calculate different subscription tiers and Prime subscriptions separately.
What revenue sources are included?
The calculator can estimate revenue from paid subscriptions, Prime subscriptions, Bits, advertising, donations or tips, and sponsorships.
These sources are calculated separately so you can see how much each one contributes to the estimated total.
Why subscription revenue varies
There is no single amount that every Twitch creator earns from a subscription. Subscription pricing can vary by region, and creator revenue-share arrangements can differ.
Because of this, Calquo lets you enter the estimated creator revenue per subscription instead of assuming that every subscription produces the same payout.
How Bits revenue is estimated
For example, if a streamer receives 25,000 Bits:
The calculator therefore estimates 25,000 Bits as $250 in creator revenue.
Example: How much could a Twitch streamer make?
Suppose a streamer has 1,000 paid subscribers and earns an average of $3 per subscription. During the same month, they also receive 25,000 Bits, $400 in estimated ad revenue, $500 in donations, and $1,000 in sponsorship income.
In this example, the streamer would have an estimated gross revenue of $5,150 per month, or $61,800 per year if the same monthly revenue continued for 12 months.
Why this is only an estimate
Twitch income can vary significantly from creator to creator. Subscription pricing can differ by region, revenue-share terms may vary, Prime subscription payouts can differ, ad revenue changes with audience and delivery, and donations or sponsorships are not guaranteed.
Calquo uses the values you enter to estimate gross creator revenue. It does not calculate taxes, business expenses, payment processing costs, refunds, or other deductions.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Twitch streamer make per subscriber?
There is no single universal amount. Subscription pricing and creator revenue-share arrangements can vary. Enter your estimated creator revenue per subscription for a more useful estimate.
How much does a Twitch streamer make with 1,000 subscribers?
It depends on the creator's actual revenue per subscription. If a creator averages $3 in revenue per paid subscription, 1,000 subscribers would represent about $3,000 in monthly subscription revenue before adding Bits, ads, donations, or sponsorships.
How much are 10,000 Twitch Bits worth to a streamer?
Using an estimate of one cent in creator revenue per Bit used to Cheer, 10,000 Bits represent approximately $100 in creator revenue.
Are gifted subscriptions included?
Yes. In Simple mode, gifted subscriptions can be included in the total paid subscriber count. In Advanced mode, they can be included in the appropriate subscription tier.
Are Prime subscriptions the same as paid subscriptions?
Not necessarily. Prime subscription revenue can follow different payout rules, so Advanced mode lets you enter Prime subscriptions separately and specify the estimated creator revenue per Prime subscription.
Does Twitch ad revenue stay the same every month?
No. Advertising revenue can vary based on audience size, viewer location, ad availability, stream hours, ad frequency, and other factors. Calquo therefore lets you enter your own estimated monthly ad revenue.
Does this calculator include taxes?
No. The results are gross revenue estimates before taxes, business expenses, payment processing costs, and other deductions.
Does this calculator show profit?
No. Revenue and profit are different. To estimate profit, you would need to subtract expenses such as taxes, equipment, software, internet, editors, moderators, travel, and other business costs from revenue.
